Under the supervision of and reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager. The Control Systems Product Manager establishes the models and types of products and their pricing levels necessary to meet the market demand and maximizing the profit of their assigned product line. This includes but is not limited to sales policies, sales forecasts and related sales incentives, together with and other objectives to maximize company sales and profitability, including advertising marketing and plans. Provide backup and support for other Product Managers.
Education / Experience
A working knowledge of pumps, valves, and electrical control systems, utilizing soft starters, variable frequency drives, and motor control centers that operate pumps and valves for maintaining flow and pressure in a system. A basic working knowledge of telemetry and SCADA systems is necessary. Education is generally equivalent to a bachelor's degree in engineering or some other relevant major from a 4-year college and or 5 to 7 years of management, product management, sales and marketing, and engineering experience in a custom manufacturing environment. Work experience and proven track record will be considered in lieu of a 4-year degree.
