Belleville Water Project
Illinois–American Water Company Belleville Water Project
When Illinois–American Water Company needed a large booster station to meet contractual deadlines they selected USEMCO as their supplier. This project required one 300 HP and two 150HP Aurora vertically mounted split case pumps controlled by Variable Frequency Drives. The entire system is enclosed in a modular structure with an insulation rating of R30, aggregate siding, and a sloped roof that has three access hatches for pump removal. The size of the station was 15’10” wide x 43’ long and 15’6” high. The total skid length is 52’ including the attached 350KW generator for emergency power back up. The total unit weighed in at 90,000lbs.
The station was shipped totally assembled and the tractor / trailer total length was 135 feet. With USEMCO’s factory testing this station only required external piping & power connections and the owners telemetry panel to be fully operational for immediate online service.

USEMCO selected to receive Agricultural Development Grant
The competitive Special Agricultural Facility Grant funding, allocated in the 2009-2011 budget, will support a $200,000 project conducted by USEMCO in Tomah to develop and demonstrate an anaerobic digester that is cost effective for small farms. Wisconsin has nearly 13,000 dairy farms, with an average herd size of fewer than 100 cows. By bringing the economy of scale down for manure digesters, many more farms will have the ability to take a potential disposal cost and turn it into a source of homegrown, renewable energy.
Pump Mate II
Package Pump Stations and Electrical Control Panels
The PumpMate is USEMCO’s total station for submersible pumping applications. The 8 inch concrete and rebar base holds the piping, valves and control panel in the vertical. The entire system is then enclosed in an insulated fiberglass enclosure with 2 oversize doors for access to the valving and controls.
The PumpMate is universal. It will work with any submersible pump. It is ideal for new or retrofit applications. The design will work with 3 inch thru 6 inch pipe and valving up to 25 HP duplex. Larger models are available.
Fuel Tanks
Steel Fuel tanks above ground for agricultural/farm applications. Fire guard and flame shield tanks. Below ground fuel storage tanks in single wall and double wall models. .
