Leach8™ Sump Tank
The Leach8™ Sump Tank (LST) is an underground tank designed in concert with an Environmental Engineer who determines the burial depth, leachate chemistry, inlet flow rate and discharge flow rate. From there, Northland Tank and Fab engineers the Leach8 Sump Tank to meet site conditions.
The Leach8 Sump Tank is a double wall tank with the ACT-100-U or STI-P3 external corrosion protection systems. All connections to the LST are dielectrically isolated to insure maximum protection of the exterior coating. The interior is epoxy lined and utilizes polymer and/or stainless-steel components for additional protection. The entire lining is holiday tested with low voltage using a detector wand.
Leach8™ Holding Tank
Once an underground sump tank is full, the leachate is pumped into an aboveground storage tank where the liquid resides before being recirculated into the landfill or transported to a treatment site by piping or tanker. A Northland Tank and Fab Leach8™ Holding Tank (LHT) is designed for onsite storage until treatment is scheduled. These double walled tanks are lined with epoxy and painted on the exterior with an epoxy primer and urethane top coat. As with a Leach8 Sump Tank, the lining is holiday tested at low voltage.
Leach8 Holding Tanks are available in Horizontal or Vertical orientations and my be listed as UL 142 or API-650, depending on size and site requirements.
