Stainless Steel Tanks
Stainless Steel is required where product cleanliness and/or extra corrosion resistance is desired. Northland Tank and Fab takes every precaution to clean and segregate both the materials and welding processes to prevent contamination of the stainless. A final glass bead blast and/or acid wash cleans and allows passivation before shipment.
Engineered Solutions
When presented with a unique challenge to meet a client’s needs, Northland Tank and Fab welcomed the opportunity to provide a creative solution. An end user required a fuel tank for an offshore platform, secured in a protective frame with the ability to reposition as desired. NTF designed and engineered a structural cage with fork pockets and mechanically fastened the tank into the weldment, thus not affecting the UL listing of the tank proper. The structure also doubled as a shipping crate to protect the installed components during its journey from factory to export facility.
